What's inside

Three courses

Introduction to Power Electronics

(0 hours)
This course introduces the basic concepts of switched-mode converter circuits for controlling and converting electrical power with high efficiency. Principles of converter circuit analysis are introduced, and are developed for finding the steady state voltages, current, and efficiency of power converters.

Converter Circuits

(0 hours)
This course introduces advanced concepts of switched-mode converter circuits. It covers power semiconductors, switching times, and equivalent circuit models. It explores discontinuous conduction mode and various converter circuit topologies, including transformer-isolated forward and flyback converters.

Converter Control

This course teaches how to design a feedback system to control a switching converter. It covers modeling, analysis, and design of feedback loops for switching regulators.
