This program is designed for a Japanese beginner to learn how to express basic ideas in Japanese, by using simple vocabulary and sentence patterns commonly used in college life.

For this purpose, the course will provide video lectures/practice and quizzes to help learn Japanese conversation, grammar, and vocabulary. Also, discussion forums about the Japanese language and culture are available through the program.

Andy begins his life at a Japanese university and needs to sort out many things. He gets help from people around him by asking how to get somewhere and how long it will take. One day, a Japanese yosokoi dance performance catches his attention.

Steps in Japanese for Beginners1 Part3

(20 hours)
The exchange student Andy joins the university yosokoi dance club. Through interaction with his club mates and teacher, he describes his experiences and we learn more about his character and how he tries his hardest in these situations. You'll learn to invite someone, describe your experience, request permission, and explain relationships.
