Starting a Business

Save For Later

Starting a business involves a wide variety of interdisciplinary skills. In this track, we'll use a hypothetical software business an example to learn the basics of marketing, finance, accounting, and the legal aspects of creating a company. Then, we'll jump into more intermediate marketing concepts and explore how to expand your reach through social media, usability, SEO, video, and email marketing. Next, we'll learn how to build out a solid company structure to ensure success in the future. It's important for a business owner to have some technical background in order to effectively manage designers and developers, so we'll finish things up by building a simple web store.
