Scatterplots

Mathematics I,

Scatterplots show us relationships and patterns in data, and we use those patterns to make predictions.

This course contains 2 segments:

Creating and interpreting scatterplots

Do people who eat more vegetables tend to be happier? Is crime getting better or worse over time? In this tutorial we'll make scatterplots to see if there is a correlation between two variables.

Estimating with trend lines

If we know how big a person’s feet are, can we predict their height? In this tutorial, we'll fit a line to the pattern we see and use it to make predictions.
