It is integral for anyone seeking a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate to have a strong understanding of data. Knowing how to identify, gather and analyze data helps you make informed project decisions and further product and process excellence.

This six-week course introduces participants to project data collection and analysis, including identifying data types and scales; calculating basic descriptive statistics, probability, measurements of central tendency and dispersion; and interpreting results through key statistical metrics and data visualization.

Through course lessons, instructor insight and peer discussions, you will also learn how to construct and interpret process control charts and perform attribute and variable measurement systems analysis for reproducibility and repeatability studies.

Knowledge of mathematics at the advanced algebra/pre-calculus level is required, but no prior knowledge of statistics is assumed.
