Syllabus

First meetings
This module looks at introducing yourself and others in a variety of contexts, including written profiles, and includes a revision of the relevant language for getting to know people, and describing them and their social and professional interests.
Read more
Traditional and online education
This week you will learn to talk about your experiences and achievements, especially regarding your studies, using a variety of time expressions and tenses. You will also look at how to describe education data and trends.
Keeping fit
By the end of this module you should be able to understand and give advice and opinions about health and well-being, including diet and exercise.
The changing workplace
This module will enable you to to talk about work and the workplace, using modal verbs to talk about possibilities and to make deductions.
Spoiler alert
In this module, you will practice using narrative tenses to tell stories. You will also learn some useful language to talk about books, films and other types of stories like news items.
Be the change you want to see in the world
This week revises some forms of the future tense and introduces new future tenses while presenting useful language to talk about activism, intersectionality, inclusion and climate change.
