Accurate Measurements are the key to good fashion design. Whether designing dresses, trousers, skirts, shirts and so on for yourself or for a client, you will need to start with quality measurements. And This Easy Sewing Kit Course for Learning Measuring has you covered.

In this course, I teach you the basics to prepare the key measurements vertically and horizontally for your design, so that it will inform an accurate design and a comfortable and stylish fit.

This course begins with teaching you typical dressmaking measurements for horizontal/circumference from the shoulders, busts, hips, thighs and armhole, and continues to the vertical measurements shoulder to bust, shoulder to waist and shoulder to hip.

In the second part of this course, I teach measurements for trousers including the measurements for the thigh, knee, ankle and crotch.
