This online course will examine and discuss IoT technology and market specific topics, relevant case studies of IoT security vulnerabilities and attacks, mitigation controls as well as the promise for more efficient and sustainable living.

By looking at a variety of real-world application scenarios of the IoT and diverse implemented applications, the various understandings and requirements of IoT applications become apparent.

At the end of the course, you'll know all of the various types of technologies that are available and in use today and can be utilized to implement IoT solutions.

You will also be given the opportunity to apply these technologies to tackle scenarios of your choice in teams of two or three, using an experimental platform for implementing prototypes and testing them as running applications.
