Introduction

The things you watch have been accumulated over the years of his incarcerations and addiction, as well as the life lessons he’s learned from others. I have to inform you right now that in this training we will be dealing with a lot of Simplicity! Experts say the average person is now bombarded with thirty-five thousand messages a day: e-mails, text messages, billboards, television, radio, Twitter, Facebook, blogs, etc. it’s “information overload.” People don’t need more information; they need to learn how to apply the information they already have. The reason why we are doing what we are doing as counselors, teachers, facilitators, and or instructors is that we can use what we been through to help stop someone from making the same wrong turn we may be taken early in our lives, and if we can reach one man, one woman or one child then we’ll take that, and maybe that one individual will reach all the others that we couldn’t reach.

This training is designed to…..

· inspire you, motivate you, and lead you to your true destination

· Empower you spiritually, mentally and emotionally, relationally

· Go inside programs, prisons, jails, halfway houses, rehabs, and homeless centers

· Help men and women obtain and maintain a productive lifestyle

· Help men and women to make Minor Adjustments

The first thing that you will need to have for this process to begin to work is ‘A Willing Mind’. What do we mean by that? It’s up to you to study each unit and make the necessary adjustments in life that you need and put them into action.

Each key in this training represents  ‘A Process’ something that you have clearly mastered! Our goal and our focus are always about ‘You’ and what we need you to focus on is “How to allow your past to push you into your destiny.” But remember, you must be willing to go ANYWHERE BUT BACKWARDS!

In order for you to begin the process of ‘Allowing Your Past to Push You into Your Destiny’, you must first know that despite all the bad choices and situations and the negative things you have done in your past you still have a purpose for a living!!!!! So many people want their lives to have meaning. They want to do the right thing but are often unsure what that is. You and I were created to do something extraordinary. You have a Purpose!

The word ‘Purpose’ means: to set as an aim, intention, or goal for oneself the reason for which something exists.

When two armies are at war and one of the armies wants to give up because they realize that they are defeated they wave a white flag, or when a boxer is taking a beating in the ring and the corner wants to stop the fight, they throw in the white towel. In this case “Meaning your Life” you are the one with the white flag/towel in your hand and you and only you have the power to wave it or throw it in and that’s called surrendering and surrendering is the key to YOUR VICTORY!

The word ‘Surrender’ means: to give up, abandon, relinquish or just let go.

“Always Visualize Vertically”

Always live off of your vision and never live off of your sight. Your sight shows you what’s now, but your vision shows you what’s to come. Unbelief in ourselves is so prevalent that I do not wish to say anything that might be interrupted as excusing it, but for all our being so slow to believe in ourselves I still think that sometimes we blame ourselves for unbelief, when our trouble really is nothing more than our inability to “Visualize.” If you have a ‘Willing Mind’ and are truly ready to make some minor adjustments in your life you will have to learn how to “Always visualize vertically.”

The word ‘Visualize’ means: to form a mental image of, something incapable of being viewed or not at that moment visible.

Rising to a challenge reveals hidden abilities within you that otherwise would have remained dormant. You don’t know what you’re capable of until you have to cope. Wise people like you and I have always understood the connection between suffering and growth. When there is something great inside of a man/woman there will be obstacles in their path that are designed to stimulate their minds, harden their natures, and improve wherever they maybe incompetent. All the great people like you and I “Must Have “ENDURANCE.”

The word ‘Endurance’ means the ability or strength to continue or last, especially despite fatigue, or stress, or other adverse conditions.

If you are going to get something you never got, you will have to do something you never did. Mr. Williams said that the first time he used a chainsaw he would cut everything in sight. He would cut the trees that we're standing up, lying down in the dirt, or wherever. But the chain would get dull really quick. He would go get it to sharpen and start to cut some more, but the same thing would happen: the chain would get dull again. Then, this older gentleman told him that the chain is getting dull because he was letting it hit the “DIRT.” So he learned that to make it work how it was designed to make some “Minor Adjustments.”

The word ‘Minor’ means lesser, as in size, extent, or importance, or being or noting the lesser of two.

The first test of a truly great man or woman is their humility. By humility, I don't mean doubt of their powers or hesitation in speaking their opinion, but merely an understanding of the relationship of what they can say and what they can do. Do you wish to be great? Think first about the foundation of humility, because the higher your structure is to be, the deeper must be its foundation. Power is dangerous unless you have humility. You must “Stay Humble.”

The word ‘Humility’ means The state or quality of being humble; freedom from pride and arrogance; lowliness of mind; a modest estimate of one's own worth.

Living victoriously does not mean freedom from temptation, nor does it mean freedom from mistakes or losing. But you must never be satisfied with losing or even be satisfied with your mistakes. You must get angry, terribly angry, about losing and your mistakes. But the mark of the good loser is that they take their anger out on themselves (meaning: they take responsibility for their actions) and not their victorious opponents. Victory is always possible for that person who refuses to stop fighting to obtain and maintain Living Victorious!

The word ‘Living’ means the Power of continuing life; the act of living, or living comfortably.

The primary purpose is to teach men and women how to make the “Minor Adjustments” that are necessary for their lives, which will allow them to obtain and maintain a productive lifestyle after incarceration and or rehabilitation! Our motto is: Anywhere but Backward!
