Memorizing is not as helpful as understanding the basic principles of law. Taking notes and using the notes to develop an outline is standard practice for law students and helps to retain the information. In the study of law, try to think in an iambic pentameter manner. Always be able to argue both sides so that you may better anticipate what the other side is going to argue.

Students will learn that a person has to have the capacity to appreciate the responsibilities that go along with a contract.
