This is a super basic overview of the idea of podcasting. A podcast is quite simply an audio file. The benefits of having a podcast are that people can subscribe to YOUR show, which means that every time you upload a new episode, your subscribers will have it automatically downloaded onto their phone. For you as a podcaster, it means that you can build an audience over time and that they will get all of your episodes automatically for as long as they remain subscribed.

I started my first podcast, 'What You Will Learn', with my good friend. We've just hit our 1-year anniversary. We read a book each week, then share the biggest lessons with our audience in areas such as business, finance, spirituality and health.

More recently, I've added a new show called 'The Podcast About Podcasts'. Here is where I interview great podcast hosts to learn their secrets and get their advice for anyone looking to start or grow their own show.
