From this lesson, you will gain a deep understanding of the challenges and dangers that AI can pose—ranging from privacy concerns to decision-making biases. You will not only be aware of the real risks associated with AI but also be equipped with the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions about AI usage.
Lesson 2: Navigating the Global Regulatory Landscape of Generative AI
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to differentiate between the EU and US approaches to AI regulation, particularly around the EU risk-based framework versus the US sector-based policy and the different enforcement policies. We will also look at individual companies including Microsoft who have their own internal guidelines, yet there is a perceived need for broader, industry-wide initiatives that establish common guidelines and principles.
