real life examples

The content is well thought out and thorough and I liked the real life examples throughout.

The sessions were really insightful and the the extra effort that was taken to showcase real life examples was exemplary.

Course should have some tough and more challenging real life examples for exercises and some more interesting quiz.

The areas that I think can made further better are :further details on technology stack , more real life examples of metrics that are measure d , lessons learnt in failures of product launch where product management was not upto mark, Awesome !!!

I would like to see more real life examples of how to work with specific tools and create A-Z PM task missions This has been a good introductory course so far that has helped me start thinking in a Product Manager's mindset.

Cole and Evan are always giving real life examples ( which a lot of online even classroom courses dont do these days) Loved this bit.

Learned a lot about being a PM and the frameworks which one has to keep in mind I recommend it to all the current fresher PMs and those who want to opt for this profile I like how Evan and Cole provide real life examples to lay emphasis the need for a certain approach/mindset to product management.

I love the real life examples they gave throughout the course.

Clear, professional with many real life examples.

They constantly use real life examples, which makes it easier to grasp what a PM actually does.

This is how you do a proper course, great engaging lessons, real life examples, and proper notes and preparation for it.

The real life examples are a great addition.

Engaging real life examples and visuals help.

Touches on all the basics and filled with real life examples and activities This is an awesome overview of product management with great tips on how you can pivot into a career as a PM.

even though

The reason for only four star is because I have insane amount of video lag even though I am on LAN and not even on wifi.

Even though I've been working as a PM I was still able to learn and gain new insights while also strengthening existing knowledge.

I suggested some topics along the course; but the main point is to have more practical examples and tools that we can use in our daily jobs such like the ones I mentioned above [even though I know this course is mainly for aspiring PMs, but it helped current PMs as well :D].

It was an excellent match for me even though I am already a Product Manager.

Like they have already mention even though I have a MBA degree they don't teach product management at grad school.

Even though there might be enough information that you already used in your practice if you didn't read enough books it would help you to structure it and put the right names.

Course is definitely a must for experienced software engineers to realize the importance what makes a product click in the market even though this course targets people who would want to get into product management.

While about 90% of the course is aimed at generic product management, I still learned from the 10% aimed at software development - even though this is not my field.

Even though I've been doing this job for 5 years I learned a lot of new information.

Even though I can see how some companies combine this role with product management, in our company it's not the case.

And even though I enjoy learning about the user research, getting more about the product management itself would be great.

I have learnt a lot through this course even though I am still at the half way mark through the course.

useful info given in a not boring way, even though i already know most of the stuff Took long... Never feel like I am getting it done.

Even though I know a good deal, I'm still getting a lot of new information.

high level

This course has pretty amazingly designed to make the students understand the PM concepts from the basics to a high level.

Interesting but too high level so far.

I especially enjoyed the interviews with product managers currently working at high levels in the industry and the advice they provided(I am just about to finish a 5 week intensive in SQL due to said advice.

Too much high level information which could be presented in a more dense way.

Great high level overview of product manager job and key elements so far.

Valueable insights Very high level overview - wish we got more into the details...the weeds.

Great at teaching the fundamentals and basics for intro level users Keeps high level so far, while explaining the thought process and giving real world examples!

The course seems extremely high level - too generic.

Very short movies, with almost more intro and outro than content Concept explained in a simple and engaging manner Cela donne un apperçu rapide du métier de PM, le cours est bien structuré So far so good Too high level.

very high level... told it was going to augment knowledgeable pms Gives the basic constructs of PdM and how to approach it if you are new to the world of product management.

Still quite high level; no serious learning yet.

Information is good and high level but the pace is slow for me.

Very high level course!

step by step

Extremely gratifying experience of doing this course, coming from a non tech background i aspired to learn the basic foundation of Product Management, both instructor do a fabulous job of acquaint the learner about each topic in a step by step manner.

Waiting to learn more :) The course offers practical step by step tips.

Enjoy the basic breaksdowns and step by step guidance as well as all the materials available!!

also they tackle all areas in an easy step by step way.

It contains a lot of real life examples and I did a lot of notes: market and competitors research (table with step by step examples), customers development with step by step flow (even with email examples), tips how to communicate with different team members (devs, designers, executives) to be on the same page - that’s only a few examples that I want to highlight!

What I was really looking for was a step by step strategy, with room for pivots, to approaching product management, and I felt like this was just a generic overview, in no particular order, of product management concepts.

Everything is really well explained, step by step, and a lot of examples are given, making it very easy to understand.

Great job of piecing the PM role together step by step.

The step by step model is granular enough that I can put it in context for what it means for my current day-to-day role since I'm not a formal PM but have a lot of elements of my job that cross over into this space.
