Linux
Managing File Services (LPIC-2)
There are many financial constraints as well as security concerns in the Enterprise today. Being able to deploy Active Directory on a secure Linux platform without the need for Windows Server's licenses will address both concerns. In this course, Linux: Managing File Services (LPIC-2), you'll learn how to address your growing need for open source in the Enterprise. First, you'll dive into deploying SAMBA as a simple file server, sharing files to Linux and Windows clients alike. Then, you'll explore the domain need by deploying Active Directory on the SAMBA server and using kerberos authentication. Finally, you'll discover how to share files with NFS in a pure Linux environment. When you're finished with this course, you'll have the tools needed to plan and deploy file services in your organization, along with meeting the objectives for the LPIC-2 202 exam.
