This course is a collection of exercises that can help significantly with dyslexia and the functioning of the brain.
WHY I CREATED THIS COURSE:
I have dyslexia and as a child it was difficult, my school years were ones of embarrassment as I had trouble with reading, writing and comprehension. I was brought up in an era where there wasn't a lot of understanding about dyslexia and other learning difficulties.

The major change happen when I went to an organisation in New Zealand called Receiving one-on-one tutoring helped my mind function more effectively. I was introduced to brain gym-type physical exercises, which I believe had a remarkable effect on my brain functioning power.
This lead me to complete a Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and three other diplomas in Chinese medicine.
In this course some of the exercises are modified versions of brain gym exercises and others I have learnt over the years and have found to be very effective in helping brain functions in patients and students.
I have put this course together to help other people who may have learning disabilities similar to my own. By practicing these exercises it is possible experience the same life changing effects that I did.
Traditional Chinese Medicine has been using Qigong exercise to increase brain functionality for thousands of years.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN FROM THIS COURSE?
The differences between
You will learn the signs and symptoms of Dyslexia and ADHA.
You will be able to complete a test to determine whether you or your child shows any symptom of these conditions.
During this course you will learn 25 different exercises that could help you or your child's brain functions, memory, comprehension and cognitive power.
Enjoy the course - I hope you get as much from these exercises as I did. They changed my life. f you have any question please ask through the course contact details.

This section is on Muscle stretching/relaxing exercises, which are important to help take stress out of the body, which in turn takes stress out of the muscles in the head and neck.
Muscle stretching/relaxing exercises are important to take stress out of the body which in turn takes stress out of the muscles in the head and neck. This helps the brain to function without pressure and tension.
This first exercise helps to remove tension from the calves and back of the legs. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) this also helps the flow of energy/Qi to travel up the Bladder meridian which travels all the way up and over the head. This exercise helps to free course the Qi in the mind to help clear thinking and increase mind/brain functions.

This third exercise helps to remove tension from the calves, ankles and feet and in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) also helps the flow of energy/Qi to travel down from the Bladder, Stomach and Gallbladder meridians, these meridians travels all the way to the head. These exercise also moves energy up the Kidneys, Spleen and Liver meridian which have internal pathways leading to the head. This exercise helps to free course the Qi in the mind to help clear thinking and increase mind/brain functions.

The fourth exercise helps to remove tension from the neck and shoulders. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) it also helps the flow of energy/Qi to travel up and down from the head via all the 12 primary meridians which travels to the head region through more external and internal pathways. This exercise helps to free course the Qi in the mind to help clear thinking and increase mind/brain functions.

This fifth exercise helps to remove tension from the arms and shoulders and in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) it also helps the flow of energy/Qi to travel down from the head via the Heart, Large intestine and Pericardium meridians and up the Small intestine, San jiao/triple warmer and Lung meridians to the head. This exercise helps to free course the Qi in the mind to help clear thinking and increase mind/brain functions.
In this revision lesson you will be able the watch a video and practise all the Muscle stretching exercises together one after the other.

The Connection exercises are important to activate and connect the right and left hemispheres of the brain , which helps the brain to function more effectively.
This first exercise helps to relax and remove tension from the temple lobe. This lobe governs: speech, behaviour, memory, hearing, vision and emotions
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) it is a acupuncture point called Tai yang (M-HN-9) which is an extra point and is used for headaches and to help calm the mind. It is a point used in the Dao Yin Qigong head massage system. This exercise also helps to free course the Qi in the mind and can help with clear thinking and increasing mind functions.
The Connection exercises are important to activate and connect the right and left hemispheres of the brain , which helps the brain to function more effectively.
This second exercise helps to move the energy between the right and left hemispheres of the brain. The right side relates to: Creativity, Imagination, it is Intuitive, conceptual, heuristic, empathetic, figurative and irregular. the left side is: analytical, logical, precise, repetitive, organised, details, scientific, detached, literal and sequential.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) this exercise stimulates the Ren mai (Conception vessel) which has an internal pathway to the eyes and vision centre in the occipital lobes. This exercise also activates the Dantian (physical energy centre) which supplies energy to the Ren mai vessel. This exercise helps to co-ordinate Qi moving from the right and left hemispheres in the Occipital region.
The Connection exercises are important to activate and connect the right and left hemispheres of the brain , which helps the brain to function more effectively.
This sixth exercise helps to move the energy in the brain region by stimulating the ears

This is the first of the extra brain exercises, which energetically connect the right and left sides of the body by connecting the palms to the opposite side sole of the foot. This also connects the two hemispheres of the brain, by moving energy between the hands and the soles, it allows the mind to focus on two different sides of the body at the same time engaging both sides of the brain.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) this exercise connects the kidney and the pericardium meridian which creates the crossover energy through the Dantian. This in turn affects the yin and yang aspects of the brain and the second part of the exercise activates the circulation of Qi in the Du mai and Ren mai vessels. This tonifies and free courses the Qi in the mind. The legs crossed and the palms touching palms creates a figure eight movement of Qi through the lower dantian which helps the Qi circulating through the brain region.
This is the second of the extra brain exercises which helps to activate and connect the right and left hemispheres of the brain, helping the brain to function more effectively.
