Section 1: Introduction to Monday.

We will first start off by learning what exactly Monday is and what are the different use cases of Monday.

As Monday is a versatile tool, it has multiple applications and you need to be familiar with the different use cases Monday has.

We will learn the different pricing plans Monday has to offer as well as learn how to setup an account on Monday.

Section 2: Creating workflows in Monday.

After having a brief introduction about Monday, we will then learn how to start using the platform.

We will learn what are workspaces in Monday and  how to create multiple workspaces.

We will learn how to add boards and groups to these workspaces and learn how to add items or tasks to boards and groups.

We will learn how to invite members to join our boards, create teams and assign tasks to members and teams.

Section 3: Columns.

Columns allow you to define attributes for the tasks you have in your workflow, in this section we will learn about how we could use columns to define our tasks. We will learn the different type of columns Monday has to offer and what are the uses of different column types.

We will learn how to add column descriptions and also learn how to add subitems to the already present items to create a hierarchical structure in our tasks.

Section 4: Updates & Notifications.

As Monday is a collaboration tool, being able to communicate with teams is a crucial feature to have. Monday provides us the ability to communicate with teams and its members using a feature called updates. Using updates we could contextualise team communication and collaboration around a specific task.

Notification is another feature which Monday provides so that all the team members stay up-to-date with the tasks and items which are relevant to them. We will learn the different types of notifications Monday has to offer and how and when a specific member of the team will be notified.

Section 5: Search & Filtering

Monday also provides us the ability to search anything across all the boards using the search anything feature.

Using which we could search anything related to our project by using keywords. This feature makes using Monday more efficient as we could quickly find tasks, updates and files without having to scroll through them. It also provides the ability to add multiple filters all at once so that we could filter out items on our boards as per our needs. It allows us to perform filtering on the basis of multiple parameters.

Section 6: Dashboard & Widgets

Monday also provides us a feature to create reports and summaries of the current project status. We could generate dynamic reports using the Dashboards and widgets provided my Monday. There are multiple pre-built widgets which could be used to visualise and report data, the only thing we need to do is set parameters to these widgets and they will pull data from our workflows and report it inside the dashboard.

This feature also allows us to export these dashboards as PDF files and print and share them with anyone we want to.

Section 7: Working With Files

While working and collaborating on projects, you need to share and exchange files. Monday allows you to upload, download and collaborate with files. It has the ability to upload different versions of a file and communicate on them by the means of updates. We could also control the permissions so as to which members or teams are able to access certain files.

Section 8: Automation & Integrations

Monday provides us a feature to automate certain mundane and repetitive tasks in our boards thereby reducing the time and effort required to do them. There are multiple pre-built automation recipes provided by Monday which could be used to automate almost anything within the Monday platform. Integration allows us to integrate Monday with other external platforms and tools like GitHub, Asana, Slack, Gmail and a lot more. It allows us to perform automations inside these platforms by integrating Monday with them.
