Wireless networks are a required component of every enterprise network. Mobile devices like laptops, tablets, and smartphones have created a demand for wireless coverage in buildings. Additionally, devices specific to healthcare, manufacturing, education, retail also required reliable wireless connectivity to operate properly.

In this course, Cisco Wireless Basic Operation and Configuration, you will learn the fundamentals of 802.11 Wireless Deployments. First, you will examine the fundamentals of wireless including 802.11 protocols and the radio frequencies used to deliver the wireless ethernet network. Next, since anyone with a wireless adapter can listen to the information transferred on a wireless network, you will discover the encryption technologies available to secure wireless conversations including WEP, WPA, WPA2, and WPA3.
