Having completed over 10 years of university study, and being in the health industry for over 12 years, I have worked with a wide range of individuals, from the general population, to advanced and high performance athletes. During this time, I have developed a significant level of knowledge and understanding to how the body changes from resistance training. This has encouraged me to develop this online course, providing the latest evidence based principles around the physiological adaptations that occur from resistance training, with the goal to help coaches and allied health practitioners develop a better understanding of these concepts. Having a good understanding of these adaptation processes, can enhance the level of practical applications with regards to exercise rehabilitation and programming, thus improving athletic performance. Furthermore, I wanted to create a course that I wish I had in my earlier coaching career.
If you're a personal trainer, coach or allied health practitioner, looking to enhance their knowledge on how the body changes with resistance training, then this is the course for you.
