Reviews summary

Foundational aws networking concepts

According to learners, AWS Networking Basics is a strong foundational course that effectively demystifies complex networking concepts within the AWS ecosystem. Many highlight the practical labs and hands-on exercises as particularly useful, enabling immediate application of knowledge. Students appreciate the instructor's clear explanations and the emphasis on real-world examples, cost implications, and operational excellence. While largely praised for its introductory nature, some learners with prior experience found the content to be too basic or superficial for advanced scenarios, occasionally requiring supplementary research. A few older reviews noted slightly outdated UI screenshots, though this appears to be a minor point that doesn't hinder core understanding.

Emphasizes hands-on learning with valuable labs and examples.

"The practical labs are incredibly helpful, allowing me to apply concepts immediately."

"The hands-on exercises really drive home the concepts."

"The step-by-step guidance in the labs was invaluable. I now feel comfortable navigating VPCs, subnets, and routing tables."

Provides a clear, comprehensive introduction to AWS networking.

"This course truly demystifies AWS networking... It's a great foundational course for anyone starting out."

"Absolutely fantastic course! It made AWS networking understandable even for a non-network engineer like myself."

"I found the course quite helpful for a beginner. The visual aids were very effective and the concepts were clearly explained."

Some minor UI elements may be slightly outdated due to AWS console changes.

"Some parts felt a bit outdated, especially the user interface screenshots which have changed slightly."

"One suggestion would be to refresh some of the older console screenshots, as AWS UI changes frequently."

"The core concepts remain relevant despite minor UI updates, but newer visuals would be a plus."

Ideal for beginners, but may lack depth for advanced learners.

"The content is relevant... Useful for absolute beginners, maybe less so for intermediate users."

"While it covers basics, I felt some sections were too superficial... Lacked practical depth for me."

"It's fine for getting familiar with terms, but if you're looking to implement complex solutions, you'll need more."

"This course is too basic and doesn't prepare you for any real-world scenarios."
