With 8 years of experience in the Clinical Analysis Laboratory and 11 more years in the Environmental Laboratory, I was able to live and still live with brilliant people: students, technicians and professors who taught me a lot of what I know about methodologies and behavior within the laboratory environment.

And this course is the compilation of what I learned and which I decided to share in a quick and practical immersion training for those who want to get their hands dirty in the Laboratory and don't know where to start.

Learning objectives

  • Measure the ph and alkalinity of a liquid sample using a ph meter.
  • Determine the electrical conductivity and color of a liquid sample using the conductivity meter and the spectrophotometer.
  • Measure the turbidity of the samples, differentiating the turbid from the clear, using a turbidimeter / nephelometer.
  • Calibrate the ph meter, conductivity meter and turbidimeter (user level calibration).
  • Obtain reliable results on the bench, avoiding unnecessary expenditure of time and reagents.

Seja bem-vindo ao 1० módulo do LabXpress, sobre análise de pH!

Falaremos sobre a importância dessa análise e depois do princípio do método analítico. Em seguida,veremos como se dá a calibração do eletrodo (ou sonda) de pH e, na sequência, vamos realizar a medição do pH em uma amostra ambiental. Aproveite as aulas sobre potencial hidrogeniônico (pH)!

pH é realizado por um método eletroanalítico, ou seja, mede-se um sinal elétrico (em mV) que é convertido no valor do pH (escala de 0 a 14) que aparece no visor do equipamento.
