Bonus #1: Breathing & visualization exercise - students will participate in a guided breathing and visualization exercise that will help teach them how to reduce their stress levels.
Bonus #2: Negative self-talk class - students will learn how to manage their negative self-talk which is often the underlying cause leading to procrastination, being distracted, and attempting to multitask. The goal is for students to work smarter, not necessarily harder, and to get more done (better quality of work done) in a given time-frame and to have extra time to just have fun.
Negative self-talk can be extremely harmful, and can be at the root of limited thinking and perfectionism, where good just isn't good enough.
Most of us engage in negative self-talk on a daily basis, and we may not be aware of it until we start being more "mindful." In this lesson you will learn about negative self-talk, about "Red brain & Blue brain" and get some tips on what you can do to help neutralize it and to be more "mindful."
Are you good at multi-tasking? See if your answer changes after taking this lesson.
There is no substitute for sleep. It is during sleep that our body / mind renews and we need that renewal in order to function at our best. If you are not getting sufficient sleep, this may be a reason that your mental focus and abilities are not what you would like them to be.
