As a beginner to JavaScript I was able to follow along well and build up my knowledge step by step.

I'd used utilities in other courses to generate a project that included Babel and/or Webpack but Andrew's manual step by step walk-thru to create your own project template is invaluable for understanding in detail what these utilities do and how they can be configured.

great Babel and webpack section lessons needs to be broken down into smaller videos to make it easier to follow The most thorough javascript course I have ever taken.

This was a great beginning course to get familiar with ES6 and building out applications with Babel and Webpack.

The last section: Cutting-Edge JavaScript with Babel and Webpack is outstanding.

The recently integrated section covering Babel and webpack was a great addition.

So if you are an absolute beginner, you will likely want to study at least the basics of HTML and CSS using other sources.

:) I came into this course with a basic understanding of JavaScript from previous courses that was more involved with HTML and CSS, and left me unsure of where to go with the knowledge I obtained.

I liked the different structure of the course compared to others of its ilk (HTML and CSS introduced much later into the course).

Though the basics of HTML and CSS are covered in this course make no mistake this is a Java Script course.

If you are looking to learn a lot of HTML and CSS this is not the course for you.

There are plenty of exercises and the examples he uses are very well thought out.

The course is very well thought out, starting with the basics and then moving on to complete projects.

These have been well thought out to ensure that you apply the new skills that have been taught in a lecture but often require you to combine them with previous knowledge in order to complete them.

It is comprehensive but very well thought out and methodical.

Even though I had already purchased a node.js course to follow this I had to get Andrew's course.

Even though I skipped some parts of the course ( which were for real beginners) I am relearning alot and learning new ways to write cleaner code.
