Whilst the course was not originally planned to focus only on CPUs and Nvidia installation, some extra methods (AMD etc) are now included at the end of the course.
It's possible to run Stable Diffusion using either a CPU or GPU when using ComfyUI, this is intended to be viewed after the CPU installation guide which precedes. An introduction to the ComfyUI user interface
This is an introduction to the methods of managing the frequent updates available to the backend.
Work with custom nodes and troubleshooting installation issues.
How to troubleshoot custom nodes and uninstall custom nodes.
You may want to install some of this software to assist in managing your installation.
ComfyUI can now run on AMD GPUs on Windows. This video demonstrates how to install ComfyUI using Anaconda. The video goes beyond the planned lecture space for this course, but may prove useful for learners which to try running ComfyUI on AMD hardware. Drop the lecturer a message if there are any installation issues as the instructions may need to be updated over time.
