Children living in food-insecure households are at higher risk for developmental and academic problems, frequent illness and nutritional inadequacies. Learn the indicators and impacts of childhood hunger in order to identify patients at risk and provide the necessary information to families.

Designed to provide continuing medical education, Childhood Food Insecurity is a free online course developed in partnership with the Childhood Hunger Initiative of Oregon covering various topics associated with child health and wellness. Divided into five modules, the course focuses on the prevalence and predictors of food insecurity.
