You will also learn how to configure and enable Azure Synapse Link to interact with Azure Cosmos DB and how you can perform analytics against Azure Cosmos DB using Azure Synapse Link.

This course is part of a Specialization intended for Data engineers and developers who want to demonstrate their expertise in designing and implementing data solutions that use Microsoft Azure data services for anyone interested in preparing for the Exam DP-203: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure (beta). You will take a practice exam that covers key skills measured by the certification exam.

After completing this module, you will be able to describe how hybrid transactional and analytical processing can help you perform operation analytics with Azure Synapse Analytics. Configure Azure Synapse Link with Azure Cosmos DB
In this module you will learn how to configure and enable Azure Synapse Link to interact with Azure Cosmos Database. This includes creating a Cosmos database account and an analytical store enabled container, implementing Synapse Link, and validating connectivity.
Query Azure Cosmos in Azure Synapse Analytics
In this module, you will learn how to perform analytics against Azure Cosmos Database using Azure Synapse Link and the Synapse Serverless SQL. During the module you will explore how to perform a range of queries, work with aggregations such as the windowing function, and read and write data to and from transactional stores.
Practice exam on working with hybrid transactional and analytical processing solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics
In this module, you will take a practice exam that covers key skills measured in the Exam DP-203: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure. After completing this module, you will be able to prepare for the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate exam.
