大家好！Hi, everyone, welcome to join our Chinese for HSK Level 4 course. This is CHEN Li and LU Yun, and we are very happy to meet you here!

Chinese for HSK 4 is a 10-week course. It consists of two parts: Part I, which is a 6-week program, covers vocabulary and grammar delivered mainly through dialogues and passages; Part II takes 4 weeks to complete and the foci are exercises and testing strategies.

Chinese for HSK 4 aims at the fourth level of HSK. It is the counterpart of Level 4 of the Chinese Language Proficiency Scales for Speakers of Other Languages and the B2 Level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Chinese for HSK 4 includes:

 424 new HSK 4 vocabularies;

 Detailed explanation about 96 key words and grammar points;

 Analyze reading and listening materials from Official Examination Paper of HSK Level 4

 Review the words you have learnt in HSK 1 、HSK 2、HSK 3 courses.

 New words and texts via audio;

 Quizzes for each lesson and HSK test papers;

At the end of the course, you will be able to converse in Chinese on a wide range of topics and are able to communicate fluently with native Chinese speakers.

Specifically, you will master certain grammar knowledge containing fundamental sentence structure and usage like sentences with “不仅A而且/还B”(not merely A, but also B);“无论(A还是B)，都.....”(whether A or B);“既然…..就…..” (since); “在…….下" (on the condition of );“即使……也”(even though/if );“甚至" (even to the extent that) ;“千万要/不要/别”(make sure to ) and so on.

It does not matter if you complete HSK Level 3 or not, as long as you have obtained elementary Chinese language competency. Hope you enjoy our HSK courses.

You will learn 88 new HSK４ vocabularies, including 9 reading materials and 5 listening comprehension practice. You will also learn more about 19 key words and grammar points, just like “无论(A还是B)，都.....”(whether A or B); “来得及/来不及“(there’s not enough time/there’s still time);“到底” (on earth); "因此“(therefore); ”甚至" (even to the extent that) and so on.

第2周工作与经济 (WEEK 2 JOB AND ECONOMICS)

You will learn 77 new HSK４ vocabularies, including 9 reading materials and 5 listening comprehension practice. You will also learn more about 16 key words and grammar points, just like “不仅A而且/还B”(not merely A, but also B); “受不了/受得了“(cannot bear/can bear);“实际上” (in fact); "正好”(just in time); “V + 掉" (…….off/away/down) and so on.

第3周性格与情感 (WEEK 3 PERSONALITY AND EMOTION)

You will learn 71 new HSK４vocabularies, including 10 reading materials and 5 listening comprehension practice. You will also learn more about 10 key words and grammar points, just like “千万要/不要/别”(make sure to ); “对……（没）有好处“(be/not good for);“往往” (often, frequently); "却”(yet, but); “尽管…….可是/但是" (although) and so on.

第四周健康与娱乐 (WEEK 4 HEALTH AND ENTERTAINMENT)

You will learn 77 new HSK４vocabularies, including 11 reading materials and 5 listening comprehension practice. You will also learn more about 13 key words and grammar points, just like “即使……也”(even though/if ); “同…….相比“(to compare with);“最好” (had better); “尤其”(especially); “否则……." (otherwise) and so on

第五周交往与生活 (WEEK 5 COMMUNICATION AND LIFE)

You will learn 60 new HSK４vocabularies, including 10 reading materials and 8 listening comprehension practice. You will also learn more about 20 key words and grammar points, just like “是否…….”(whether or not); “只要……就“(as long as);“不得不” (have no choice but to); “然而”(however); “从来……" (at all time) and so on.

第六周教育与成功 (WEEK 6 EDUCATION AND SUCCESS)

You will learn 51 new HSK４vocabularies, including 7 reading materials and 8 listening comprehension practice. You will also learn more about 18 key words and grammar points, just like “养成…….的习惯”(to develop/form a habit); “为…….担心“(to worry about);“既然…..就…..” (since); “其中”(among); “在…….下" (on the condition of ) and so on.
