VirusTotal is a free online service that analyzes suspicious files and URLs and provides a report on the potential threats they may pose. It does this by using multiple antivirus engines and other security tools to scan the file or URL and compare the results. VirusTotal can be used to scan files before downloading them or opening them, and it can also be used to scan URLs before clicking on them. VirusTotal is a valuable tool for anyone who wants to stay safe online, and it is especially useful for security professionals and researchers.
