SCAMPER is a creative problem-solving technique that can be used to generate new ideas and find solutions to problems. It is based on the idea that there are seven basic operations that can be applied to any object or concept to create something new:

Substitute

Substitute one element of the problem for another. This could involve changing the materials, the process, or the people involved. For example, if you are trying to design a new product, you could substitute a different material for the one you are currently using.

Combine

Combine two or more elements of the problem to create something new. This could involve combining different ideas, processes, or products. For example, if you are trying to design a new marketing campaign, you could combine two different marketing strategies to create a new one.

Adapt

Adapt an existing idea or product to a new situation. This could involve changing the purpose, the target audience, or the environment. For example, if you are trying to develop a new training program, you could adapt an existing program to meet the needs of a new group of learners.

Modify

Modify an existing idea or product to make it better. This could involve changing the size, the shape, or the color. For example, if you are trying to design a new website, you could modify the layout to make it more user-friendly.
