Mobile Manipulation is a field of robotics involving the control and coordination of mobile robots equipped with manipulators. A mobile manipulator is a combination of a mobile base and a manipulator arm. The mobile base enables the robot to move around its environment, while the manipulator arm allows it to interact with objects and perform various tasks. Mobile manipulation is closely related to other fields such as robotics, mechatronics, computer science, and artificial intelligence. It combines the challenges of both mobile robotics and manipulator control to create a complex but exciting field of study.
