Electrocardiography (ECG) is a medical test that records the electrical activity of the heart. It is a non-invasive, painless procedure that can help diagnose a variety of heart conditions, including arrhythmias, heart attacks, and cardiomyopathy. ECGs are also used to monitor the heart for changes over time, such as those caused by medication or disease.
