What is overwhelm?
Overwhelm is a feeling of being overwhelmed or stressed by too many demands or responsibilities. It can be caused by a variety of factors, including:
-
Too much work or responsibility. When we have too much on our plate, it can be difficult to know where to start or how to get everything done. This can lead to feelings of overwhelm and stress.
-
Perfectionism. Perfectionism is the belief that we must be perfect in everything we do. This can lead to high levels of stress and anxiety, and can make it difficult to start or complete tasks.
-
Negative self-talk. Negative self-talk is the habit of talking to ourselves in a negative way. This can lead to low self-esteem and confidence, and can make it difficult to believe that we can overcome challenges.
-
Lack of control. When we feel like we have no control over our lives, it can lead to feelings of overwhelm and helplessness.
