Motherboards are the central hub of a computer, connecting all of the other components and allowing them to communicate with each other. They are responsible for providing power to the computer's components, as well as for managing data flow between them. Motherboards come in a variety of form factors, each of which is designed for a specific type of computer case. The most common form factor for desktop computers is the ATX form factor, while the most common form factor for laptops is the mini-ITX form factor.
