Email delivery is the process of sending and receiving emails. It involves several components, including email clients, email servers, and the internet. Email delivery can be complex, as it must ensure that emails are sent to the correct recipients and that they are not lost, delayed, or corrupted in transit.
How Email Delivery Works
When you send an email, your email client (such as Outlook or Gmail) composes the email and sends it to your email server. The email server then sends the email to the recipient's email server. The recipient's email server then delivers the email to the recipient's email client.
The process of email delivery can be affected by a number of factors, including the size of the email, the number of recipients, and the availability of internet resources. In some cases, emails may be delayed or lost due to network congestion or other problems.
