The eLearning Practicum is the culminating course in this PACE program for you to become certified in teaching and training with eLearning. As stated at the beginning of this program, the goal of this course is for you to plan, design, develop, and evaluate your own online course, unit, or training that will effectively demonstrate your learning and meet your job or career needs.  

Students must complete the other eLearning Instructional Design and Development courses before taking the eLearning Practicum.

What you'll learn:
  • Apply the concepts, instructional theories, principles, strategies, techniques, skills, and best practices that contribute to effective eLearning.
  • Identify and design learning activities, assessments, and methods that address the needs of the stakeholder and learner.
  • Utilize planning documents and charts aligning assessments and instruction with goals and objectives, stakeholder and learner needs.
  • Utilize a variety of technology tools and resources to provide different learning methods, opportunities, and interactions for diverse learners.
  • Evaluate, reflect, and make improvements to the course, unit, or training prior to implementation.
