Sequential data
representation and analysis
This class covers modern approaches to analysis of sequential data. This includes analysis of biological data as well as techniques to handle data that is too big to store in the memory and had to be processed on the fly. The main goal of the class is to expose students to novel techniques in sequence analysis and help them develope skills to use this techniques in practice. The class aims to bring students to the point where they understand current state of sequence analysis and are ready to do a deeper dive into any particular are they are interested in: big dataanalysis, text analysis, sound analysis, machine learning on big data or bioinformatics.
