substance painter

The time spent explaining Substance Painter was a bit short and I wish more time could have been spent learning about it, but overall I got everything I was looking for and some more!

I am waiting for the part with IDs and Substance Painter what I will focus on.

However the course should be updated to Blender 2.79 and to the latest Substance Painter, because I had to figure some stuff out on my own to keep on working.

Good course, but leaves out important steps for baking maps in substance painter Good The explanations are easy to follow and the workflow is very intuitive.Thanks.

I had never used Blender or Substance Painter before and I was able to finish this course without getting stuck.

I do however think that Substance Painter could have gotten a bit more detail in its devoted section.

Could have used more content on creating interesting textures in Substance Painter.

I would like to see a content fpcused in substance painter.

Substance Painter part is a little bit too short for my taste especially comparing to the Blender one.

The real strength of this course is that it focuses on a real-world workflow of creating a model from a reference in Blender, texturing it in Substance Painter, and then importing it to a game engine.

Unfortunately, this also means that not much time is spent in Substance Painter.

In addition, this series works with working in Substance Painter 1.x.

This is worth your time if you want to learn some of the essentials for Blender and Substance Painter.

I had also been looking for a starter course to begin working on Substance Painter, and thanks to this course, now I can start with more advanced texturing tasks on Painter.

game asset

This is gonna be my first professional course for modelling game assets I'm using blender 2.8, and my screen layout isn't the same.... so trying to find out where everything is at the speed at which the steps are being explained, is difficult.

i feel i am a different person now have a lot of knowledge about every single step taken in order to make a high quality game asset.

low poly

This course is good for all who wants to know the workflow of how to create a low poly mesh from a high poly.

Covers the pipeline high/low poly really well.

It make me refine my modeling, and gave me a better work-flow for making high poly mesh and low poly mesh.

This course explains the complete workflow of going from a high poly object, to a low poly object to use it in a game engine and texture it in substance painter, in great detail.

Just what you need to make a low poly object from your high poly.

For example using supporting loops instead of bevel modifiers highly increase the creation time of both high and low poly meshes.

However it seems to work, I've learned a bit about creating low poly versions of an asset and the tutor has a pleasant pronunciation.

also they really taught me that to low poly assets can look just as good as high poly assets.

asset creation

I'm so happy I chose this course I was looking for a good game asset creation course and luckily saw this one.

This course really does show a good example of the asset creation workflow between Blender, Substance Painter 2 (which is Substance Painter 2017 at this point), and Unity.

Overall the course content was wholly relevant too the subject matter and concisely narrated in an user friendly manner by the instructor I found to be quite none evasive in terms of delivery via plain language especially for people without a 'tech' background which in turn could easily understand making the entire experience both enlightening and enjoyable to follow along step by step to completion, as a result I highly recommend this workflow for anyone interested in game asset creation.

Thank you One of the best asset creation tutorials in Blender(If not the best) in Udemy good tempo!

The substance painter and unity portions are nice to see the overall workflow/process of asset creation with blender come full circle.

too fast

The instructor doesn't go too fast or too slow, and clearly knows what he is doing, and also how to teach properly.

Very well paced (not too fast and not too slow), all the techniques was really well explained and very good teaching style.

The pacing wasn't too fast or slow, and it made a good point that you want to model objects part by part where it's appropriate to make texturing & animating/rigging easier.

It's a very nice course but the dozent does everything a little bit too fast.

It's useful to a large degree but he moves way too fast and he doesn't explain a lot of his actions properly so far.
