Young People and Their Mental Health

This course was a good introduction to the subject & paves a way to further study as it gives a good insight into the areas affecting young people’s mental health.

The links to mental health charities websites also helps in providing information & services available to young people & increased my awareness to access information too.

However, I feel like it could be borig if you already knew a good deal about mental health problems and psychology, as in some places it was a little simplistic.

An introduction and overview of the mental health problems young people can suffer from that will be useful for young people themselves, parents, teachers and youth workers.

As an online academic advisor, dealing with young people, I found the course to be very insightful- not too much and not too little information.Easily understood and well planned in a logical sequence.

Quite a broad overview of several issues faced without going into too much detail.

They also, in my opinion, they emphasized that trust is a very important issue with getting help more important than dealing with more people who you can not trust.

It led to a great deal of reading online, all dealing with this subject.
