"Government Matters uses a comparative approach to teach American Government and inspire students to understand, care and become active citizens. The narrative offers comparisons across nations and across time in the US so students understand the American system, how we got to this point and alternative views of what politics/policies would be if they lived in other democracies. The ultimate goal is to motivate students to understand why politics is relevant to their everyday lives and how they can bring about change to make their lives better.
