Computed Tomography Technologists, also known as CT Technologists, are medical imaging professionals who specialize in using computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of the body. These images are used to diagnose and monitor a wide range of medical conditions, including cancer, heart disease, and trauma.
Education and Training
To become a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will typically need to complete an associate degree or certificate program in Radiologic Technology. Some programs may also offer a bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences.
