Video Game Programmers are responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of video games. They work with other members of a development team to create the game's story, characters, levels, and gameplay mechanics. Video Game Programmers use a variety of programming languages and software tools to create their games.

Education and Training

Most Video Game Programmers have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Some Video Game Programmers also have a master's degree in computer science or game design. In addition to formal education, Video Game Programmers often have experience developing their own games or modding existing games.
