Military Intelligence Officers are responsible for overseeing military intelligence operations in order to inform the decisions and actions of command teams. They collect, analyze, and interpret information about the activities, capabilities, and intentions of foreign governments and organizations, including military and terrorist groups. These men and women play a critical role in helping to protect the national security of their countries.

Education and Training

Most Military Intelligence Officers have a bachelor's degree in a field related to intelligence, such as international relations, political science, or military history. However, some officers may have a degree in a non-related field, such as engineering or business. In addition to their academic qualifications, Military Intelligence Officers must also complete a series of military training courses, including the Basic Officer Leadership Course and the Military Intelligence Officer Basic Course.
