The end goal of a DEI Consultant is to help organizations attract and retain a diverse workforce and create a culture in which different perspectives are respected.
Responsibilities of a DEI Consultant
DEI Consultants are hired to help organizations achieve their diversity, equity, and inclusion goals. This work may include:
- Conducting diversity assessments
- Developing and implementing diversity and inclusion training programs
- Consulting with leaders on strategies for promoting diversity and inclusion
- Identifying and addressing barriers to diversity and inclusion
- Measuring the effectiveness of diversity and inclusion initiatives
