Mobility Advocates are professionals who work to ensure that people with disabilities have equal access to transportation. They may work with individuals or groups to provide information about accessible transportation options, advocate for changes to transportation policies, or design and implement new transportation programs. Mobility Advocates may also work with businesses and organizations to make their transportation services more accessible.
Education and Training
Mobility Advocates typically have a bachelor's degree in a field such as social work, public health, or disability studies. They may also have a background in transportation planning or engineering. Some Mobility Advocates have a master's degree in a related field.
