Education and Training
To become a Performance Dietitian, a registered dietitian credential (RD) or registered dietitian nutritionist credential (RDN) is required. Most Performance Dietitians also pursue a Master's degree in nutrition or a related field. Specialized coursework in sports nutrition, exercise physiology, and performance enhancement is essential.
