Foundations of Quantum Mechanics

This course covers the fundamentals of quantum mechanics, including basic concepts, 1D potential problems, time evolution of quantum states, and essential linear algebra. It provides foundational knowledge for more advanced topics.

Theory of Angular Momentum

This course introduces the quantum mechanical concept of angular momentum operator and its relationship with rotation operator. It then presents the angular momentum operators, their eigenvalues and eigenfunctions. Finally, it covers the theory of angular momentum addition.

Approximation Methods

This course teaches commonly used approximation methods in quantum mechanics, including time-independent perturbation theory, time-dependent perturbation theory, tight binding method, variational method, and the use of finite basis set.
