In this six-module course, you will learn how businesses and organizations behave in situations where strategic decisions are interdependent.

Advanced Competitive Strategy

(7 hours)
Advanced Competitive Strategy introduces new topics and modules with real-world examples and student interaction opportunities. We'll explore customer lock-ins, price discrimination, product differentiation, and network effects. We'll analyze mergers and acquisitions and consider alternative growth strategies.

Strategic Organization Design

(0 hours)
Strategic Organization Design introduces new topics and modules with even more real world examples and opportunities for student interaction than its predecessors. The final course in the Competitive Strategy and Organization Design specialization covers the internal workings of an organization and its interactions with the outside world.

Competitive Strategy and Organization Design Project

This industry project allows you to apply your knowledge to advise a real company. You will choose one of two questions provided by our partner company and conduct in-depth research. You will collect relevant information, analyze it, and relate it to the content you have learned throughout the Specialization. Based on your findings, you will write a final report summarizing your research and consult the company on how to deal with the issues they are facing.
