What's inside

Four courses

Project Launch

(0 hours)
Today’s fast track business and global environment emphasizes increasing project development efficiency while using fewer resources. This course shows you how to accomplish this. Learn how to justify and select projects, and how stakeholders can influence projects. Identify the requirements necessary for defining project scope and create a list of tasks necessary to accomplish that scope.

Project Planning

(6 hours)
Successful projects are planned. This course covers the basics of project planning, including defining success metrics, understanding contract types, performing risk assessments, and estimating resource costs.

Project Execution

(0 hours)
Project Execution presents challenges. Students will learn to execute projects and adjust to changes that may derail project plans in traditional and agile project management environments. By the end of this course, students will be able to direct and manage project work and knowledge.

Project Practicum with Multiple Projects

Managing multiple projects presents different challenges than managing a single project. This advanced course builds on project managers' knowledge and skills in scope, time, cost, risk, human resources, leadership, and teambuilding. This capstone course lets you put into practice the project process groups and knowledge areas that are outlined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge Guide (PMBOK® Guide) and expands it to those required to management multiple projects.
