If you’ve ever wanted to become better at anything, this project will help serve as your guide.

In this project we will take some illustrations and be able to Visualize the data by Scatter Plot using Wolfram Mathematica.

By the end of this project learners will:

Be able to plot basic examples (list of y values and x y pair)& several data items with legends (labeling each Plot and each data item)

Be able to plot values including 'units' and using individual 'color' for each point

Be able to plot the range where the data is non real are excluded & function ranges where it is selected automatically.

Reviews summary

Wolfram mathematica scatter plot essentials

According to learners, this course offers a quick and efficient introduction to creating scatter plots using Wolfram Mathematica. Students frequently highlight the clear explanations and step-by-step guidance, making it an ideal option for those seeking hands-on practical application. It's often recommended as a solid foundation for beginners in Wolfram or for a quick refresher. However, a significant number of reviews suggest the course lacks depth for experienced data scientists and big data analysts, who might find the content too rudimentary. While praised for its practical approach, some feel it doesn't align with the advanced expectations set by its title, being more of a basic project than a comprehensive guide.
Ideal for novices in Wolfram or quick refreshers.
"Perfect for a quick refresher or an introduction for someone new to Wolfram."
"Very helpful for understanding how to use Wolfram Mathematica for data visualization... A solid foundation for beginners in Wolfram."
"It's good for a quick dive into Wolfram for scatter plots... Useful for beginners."
Focuses on hands-on application for visualization.
"This project was a quick and efficient way to learn scatter plots using Wolfram Mathematica. I liked that it was hands-on and focused directly on the practical application."
"The examples were clear, but I felt it lacked depth for someone looking to truly master visualization techniques. Still, the practical demonstrations were a plus."
"Excellent quick project for visualizing data with scatter plots in Wolfram... It's great for getting hands-on experience without a massive time commitment."
"A very practical and focused project. It delivers exactly what it promises: how to make scatter plots in Wolfram Mathematica. The explanations are clear and the exercises reinforce learning effectively."
May be fast for complete beginners lacking Wolfram basics.
"The pace was a bit too fast for a complete beginner, and the explanations sometimes felt rushed, especially for those unfamiliar with Wolfram syntax."
"I found some parts assumed prior familiarity with Wolfram, which made it less ideal for a total newcomer without any programming background."
Too basic for experienced analysts seeking advanced topics.
"I felt it lacked depth for someone looking to truly master visualization techniques. It's more of a quick introduction than a comprehensive guide."
"As a data scientist, I was hoping for a bit more advanced topics or more complex datasets to visualize, but for what it is, it's fine. It's a 'project' not a full course."
"I found the course to be very basic... I expected more insights into data interpretation or advanced visualization options relevant to big data. It felt too simplistic for 'Data Scientists & Big Data Analysts'."
"Disappointed with the depth... content is extremely rudimentary. If you're looking for anything beyond basic syntax for a simple scatter plot, this isn't it. Felt like a waste of time for an experienced analyst."
