How about building an app that does something everyone can use. A recipe app has all the necessary elements that you need in your later design profession.

You'll be given all the information necessary to create a recipe app from scratch. After getting through the hour, you'll have a neatly looking Recipe app that can be tested as a prototype. This prototype is tied together with transitions. So you could even show it to your friends or colleagues and bring it into a testing situation.

Note: Some screens in this course have changed slightly with Figma’s recent update. However, the entire course still works and has been tested to do so.
