2. Multimeter

Introduce the structure of the multimeter, explain the use of each measurement mode. Demo to show how to measure the diode value, resistance value, voltage value, etc. Introduce how to use the multimer to check different kinds of components are good or not.

3. Introduction of components on the motherboard

First, will introduce the features of the commonly used components on the iPhone motherboard, like the capacitor, inductor, resistor Then take the iPhone 7 motherboard as an example to show how the components look like. So that we can have a better impression and understanding.

4.Motherboard structure introduction

Introduce the structure and section of the motherboard. For example, will introduce how the CPU controls the other chips to achieve the relevant functions. After learning this lecture, can have a clear idea about how the inner circuit works.

5. Soldering iron

As one of the most common use tools during the chip level repair process, the operation, and maintenance of the soldering iron are very important, use it the right way to achieve a better soldering effect and prolong the life span of the soldering iron.

6. Hot air rework station with vertical wind

The hot air gun is used to heat up the component and chips for removing or replacing. And vertical wind hot air gun/station can output vertical and focus heating air, which is more suitable for removing small components and chips.

7. Hot air rework station with helical wind

Helical hot wind can heat with larger area evenly, compare with the vertical hot air gun, it normally used to remove large chips like and also suitable for moving connector with plastic part included.

8. NAND flash chip programmer

When phones get damaged and need to do data recovery, and sometimes when we need to upgrade the memory, the NAND programmer can be used to read and write the NAND kernel data. Besides, in some situations, like changing the Wi-Fi chip for iPhone above 6S models, the NAND programmer can be used to unbind the connection between the Wi-Fi and NAND.

9. Rosin Detection Method

Compare with the thermal camera method, it's the most effective way to find out the shorted components. This lecture will introduce the detailed operation process of the rosin detection method.

10. Observation Method

For most cellphone issues, the problem might be caused by reasons like drop damage, water damage, large/surge current damage. So it's important to form a habit of observing the motherboard carefully, maybe the issue is caused by components missing, corrosive, board deforming, etc.

11. Measurement in troubleshooting

To measure the motherboard voltage/current is just like a doctor measuring the pulse/heart rate, which is a very efficient way to diagnose and locate the defect. This lecture will mainly introduce the operation of diode value and voltage value measurement.

12. Introduction of commonly used repair tools

It is necessary to have effective tools to do good work. This lecture will introduce the necessary repair tools and materials for cell phone repair.

13. Current Analyze

The current reading on the DC power supply shows how the circuit works, sometimes, by the current reading we can have a preliminary judgment of the defect, which will save our time to finish the repair work more efficiently.

14. Analysis Of iTunes Error Code

Show the operation process of restore with iTunes, and an Error Code chart is listed for reference. With error code reference, we can locate the defect range. And error code may change with time, for example when iOS is updated the error code may be different.

15. Dummy Antenna Method
